A  Collection of My Flash Fiction Scribbles

Bouquets of broken promises adorned the walls of her gloomy stooping heart….
Never did she think the first tottering step of the ‘infant’ would break the jinx….
She has written a poem for the first time…

There they sat…hand in hand….
pangs of unsurety weathering them both….
She finally gathered the courage to sigh…
” If you promise to have no past, I am ready to be a future for you…” , he silently conditioned….
She rose……and left…..
His love was too lofty for her bruised, feeble heart…

 Aquamarine….colour of her tear-less eyes…
Rosebuds…..her lips represented the best of them….
Golden radiance of the sun…..conversed with her as if one…

She was BEAUTY….Poised to the extent of Poisonous…..

Money eroded the painter’s hand….
Meanwhile…..another hand….manicured regularly with varnishes and
turpentine….was busy creating a monochrome masterpiece….

She signed the divorce paper indifferently…
Those little commas and semicolons between them over the years have finally culminated into this permanent fullstop.

That day, he appreciated her cooking…after years..
“ Tears do add that wonder bit to the simplest recipes,” she smiled..

The little girl cried over her best friend…..the purple mangosteen tree….now uprooted….
The salinity of her tears nourished an unseen embryo….
Reincarnation was yearning for her belief….
