Moonlight

He had once prayed to be one with Fire.
So when she came,
He let himself be engulfed into her flamboyant plumage of flames.

He set Paradise ablaze
With one quivering touch of his conscience, overpowered.
The Sun waned in clouds of loss.
Stars heaved, the Nature froze
In trepidation of the Apocalypse.

He dazzled at his glory of Impurity
Fire cloaked him with her wounds of Love .

Only the Moon stood still, alone,
Scarred with the deep scalds of pride.
Pouring her unsaid tears
Through the veins of soothing lovelight….
